October has been flying by, and lately, we’ve been loving brands that keep us healthy and focused. From sleek notebooks to turmeric spice blends, this month’s list is bound to introduce you to your new favorite brand.
Companies and people with strong values and positive messages really caught our eye this month. Take a look at the brands we can’t live without at the moment, and read more about how they’re making an impact!
BARON FIG
Luxurious notebooks with the power to inspire — this is the promise that comes with Baron Fig. Whether you’re a rocket scientist, a fashion mogul, or a dreamer wanting to journal, Baron Fig’s simplistic notebooks and pens want to help keep you organized and creative.
Why we love them:
Inspire productivity: Baron Fig’s sleek, high-quality notebooks and pens will make you want to be productive. They’re focused on inspiring imagination and creativity, and their tools are designed to help you produce your best work.
Sophisticated branding: We admit, we’re suckers for cute stationery, ok. Not only are their products designed well, but their branding is too. The Baron Fig website and Instagram are professional, clean, and simple. We love that they have a strong recognizable brand!
Environmentally conscious: For every “Confidant” style book sold, Baron Fig plants a tree. So far, they say they’ve planted 129,412 trees in 30+ countries and counting. We’re all here for a brand that cares about the planet, and we love that a company selling paper products is reinvesting in trees around the world.
THE GLASSY
The Glassy isn’t like other travel guides, they’re a fun travel guide. Offering comprehensive, 20-something-friendly guides to cities around the world and blog posts on topics ranging from packing crystals on your flight to marathon tourism, The Glassy is your travel best friend you can count on to elevate your next trip.
Why we love them:
Ahead of the game: The Glassy is a completely fresh idea. They provide a comprehensive approach to travel for those who may think a travel guide is outdated. Gone are the days of meetings with your travel agent, and in are the days of booking your chic Parisian hotel online with a recommendation from a Glassy Guide.
Fun online presence: Their website is designed for those who appreciate good details. Graphics, colors, layout — it’s going to inspire you to redesign your own site. Not to mention their Instagram causes serious FOMO.
Health-oriented: Glassy Guides to cities and airports around the world include dining options, and they make sure to keep tabs on healthy, vegetarian and vegan options for travelers. They often include tips for finding the best gluten-free foods as well, catering to all types of dietary preferences.
COCOKIND SKINCARE
Cocokind is skincare that cares. The company prides itself on being “clean, conscious, and accessible skincare that empowers women” — and we couldn’t agree with this line more. We love that Cocokind supports women and keeps our skin feeling fresh!
Why we love them:
All natural: Cocokind is a cruelty-free brand, and many of their products are organic and vegan. Their lines are safe to use while pregnant, and they even have products specifically for babies! They believe in the power of healing skin naturally.
Representation matters: Cocokind gets real about skincare, and they’re dedicated to being an inclusive brand that represents all types of people. We love that their Instagram feed is full of people of all ages, colors, shapes, and from all walks of life.
Company with a purpose: Founder Priscilla Tsai set out with a mission to empower women through natural skincare. Their site says Cocokind products are made “by strong women, for strong women,” and through the Cocokind Impact Foundation, the company gives financial grants to women in business focused on making an impact.
GOLDYN GLOW
“Glow from within,” Goldyn Glow tempts you. Turmeric has been all the rage for the last couple years, and we’re loving this brand’s delicious spice blends that improve health and mood!
Why we love them:
Healthy doesn’t have to be bland: Founder of Goldyn Glow, Saara Vakil, set out to create a turmeric blend that actually tastes good. She got such a great reaction by her friends and family — she started Goldyn Glow! We love that she promotes how healthy eating can be done in delicious ways.
Bright color story: Goldyn Glow’s Instagram is something out of a sunshine-y dream. Their commitment to golden yellow is real, and we love the cheerful tone that their color story conveys.
Informative blog: We love a company dedicated to teaching its customers, and Goldyn Glow does just this with their blog. Feeling a little lost in the world of turmeric? You can find tips, tricks, explainers, and more on the Goldyn Glow blog.
IN IT 4 THE LONG RUN
In an age where the internet is saturated with blogs and influencers, we love that Georgie Morley from In it 4 the Long Run feels like a breath of fresh air. She is focused on personal growth, wellness, and positivity — which are things we should all be paying a little more attention too!
Why we love them:
Growth-oriented: In it 4 the Long Run is all about what healthy habits we can practice now that will improve our lives today, tomorrow, and every day that follows. We love that we feel inspired and ready to take on our challenges after reading her blog posts.
Powerful podcast: “The Chasing Joy Podcast” is about wellness and positive energy. Georgie aims to not only educate and inspire her listeners but entertain them too!
Authentic feed: Georgie’s Instagram feed is beautifully curated, but it’s not just about pretty pictures, it’s about being real with her audience. She’s not afraid to post about her struggles with acne or the kind of deodorant she uses, and we adore how genuine and positive her captions are.
